New approvals on Pakelo coolants for heavy truck vehicles
[MAN e Mercedes-Benz Approvals]
A few years ago Pakelo signed an important co-branding agreement with BASF. We got the formal authorization for the production and commercialization of BASF Glysantin® coolant line on Pakelo packaging. Glysantin® technology has been developed with the collaboration of top international OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) in order to follow and fulfill their performance levels.
Glysantin® has always been associated with high quality and efficiency. These coolants grant a quadruple protection: against the corrosion of the cooling system, against the sediment formation in the installation, against engine and coolant overheating and finally against the freezing of the coolant itself in case of extremely low temperatures.
Pakelo recently got new MAN and Mercedes-Benz approvals on certain coolants for heavy duty vehicles:
|Pakelo Coolant G48® Blue Green (Pure)||Blue Green||1st April 2015||MAN 324 Typ NF(Nitrite Free)|
|Pakelo Coolant G40® Hybrid (Pure)||Red-Pink||1st April 2015||MAN 324 Si-OAT(Silicate – Organic Acid Technology)|
|Pakelo Coolant G40® Hybrid (Pure)||Red-Pink||28th April 2015||MB-Approval 325.5|
|Pakelo Coolant G40® Hybrid (Ready Mix)||Red-Pink||28th April 2015||MB-Approval 326.5|
Pakelo Coolant G48® Blue Green and Coolant G40® Hybrid both use hybrid technology. The inhibitory part is formed by a specific blend of organic acid technology (OAT) and inorganic material. Hybrid additives are particularly preferred by Japanese and German Manufacturers. Mercedes-Benz (therefore even SETRA and EVOBUS) and MAN generally used G48® as factory fill coolant, but from November 2011 on it was obligatory replaced by G40® for all heavy duty vehicles, especially in EURO VI-low emission engines.
Glysantin® products on Pakelo packaging available both on pure and ready mix version are: Pakelo Coolant G40® Hybrid, Coolant G48® Blue Green, Coolant G30® Long Life and Coolant G05® Yellow. Pakelo ready mix products respect a precise blending ratio between pure product and deionized-demineralized water. They are easy to use and guaranteed by BASF Glysantin® German technology. These characteristics make them the best solution for the final user.
