Ferrari #51, a great victory at SPA Francorchamps!
Yesterday took place the second round of the FIA World Endurance Championship 2014 in Belgium at the Spa Francorchamps circuit and our dear Ferrari didn’t disappoint. After the bad skid on Silverstone’s wet ground Ferrari number 51 colors the podium of red, a burning red, a red that does not excuse, a red that Pakelo feels deep interwoven with its true fibers. ‘Gimmi’ Bruni’ and the Finnish Toni Vilander kept the pole position from the very start of the race, keeping easily the other pursuers at bay and mastering the circuit in the Ardennes. Right behind them the position was held by another Ferrari of AF Corse team. It was the Ferrari 458 number 71 led by young Davide Rigon and James Calado, but unfortunately the car lost the second place in the last minutes of the race to the advantage of Manthey team’s Porsche led by Jorg Bermeister and Patrick Pilet. However we feel it like a great payback after the bitter start at Silverstone. No reductions, no pity before the 15th of June, when the challenge for the legendary 24 hours of Le Mans is going to take place. At Le Mans everything doubles: the hours, the exertion and the glory. Stay tuned.
