Amato Ferrari awarded in Modena
Maranello House awards AF Corse’s leader
Last 31st January took place an important galà at Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena (Italy). The event reunited top drivers and team representatives that won racing competitions riding a Ferrari 458 Italia (or one of its versions). More than 50 drivers from all over the world have been awarded by Ferrari’s CEO, Eng. Amedeo Felisa, included Gianmaria Bruni and Toni Vilander from AF Corse team which were the undisputed protagonists of the evening. In fact the tremendous duet mastered FIA WEC’s last season with their Ferrari #51. They honored Maranello House with the prestigious victory at the 24 hours of Le Mans and title of world champions in the category LMGTE Pro.
Along with the drivers even Amato Ferrari, the mythical founder of AF Corse, was awarded for the great athletic results obtained in 2014 which include FIA WEC’s team, drivers and construction titles, the GT Open title in the category GTS and Blancain Endurance Series’s title for the Gentlemen Class.
A copy of the famous Pakelo branded Ferrari #51 is displayed on Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena. This AF Corse’s goal also makes us proud of the expert advice in the lubrication we set along the year with this professional team, which helped us to develop our skills in the racing branch.
So let’s start next FIA WEC season with a winning spirit. The first round would be the 12th of April with the 6 hours of Silverstone. If you want to be updated read our blog and follow us on our social channels. The fun is going to begin soon.
