Amateurish sport association Morano Motorsport was founded in Morano Calabro (Cosenza – South of Italy) in 2011 by a group of friends who shared the passion for motorsport and speed. Five years ago the association started organizing the Morano Campotenese Climb, a time trial competition which is effective for the Italian Speed Mountain Championship (CIVM) and the first edition of the Mediterranean Cup. This competition consists in driving a 4.41-miles route with a 1213-feet slope as fast as possible through the beautiful landscape of Morano, which actually entered the ranking of the most beautiful villages of Italy in 2003. This fifth edition of the Morano Campotenese Climb has been attended by 116 contestants. However for the third year in a row the winner is the Sicilian driver Domenico Cubeda leading his sport-prototype (group E2/B) Osella PA 2000 cc Honda. He scored the best time during round 2 setting the route in 2’53”95, although he had clutch problems right at the beginning of the second start. This is the official classification:
- Domenico Cubeda (Osella PA 2000 Honda) in 5’48”74;
- Zardo (Lola Dome) in 5”74;
- Cassibba (Tatuus F. Master) in 10”15.
Pakelo was one of the official sponsors of the race. We supplied our Pakelo Krypton Racing SAE 10W/60. This is a fully synthetic motor oil that we elaborated for sporty and racing engines undergoing severe working conditions. The product protects the engine and the components in a wide range of different temperatures and thanks to the extraordinary resistance to thermal changes and oxidation it avoids the formation of deposits on valves. Furthermore the use of thermally stable Friction Modifiers additives reduce friction and working temperatures, supporting a prompt reaction of the engine. Pakelo Krypton Racing SAE 10W/60 can be used both for gasoline (and turbocharged) or diesel (and turbodiesel) engines. To have more information contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
