Mr. Alberto Polacco, Pakelo Vice-President, attended this auto Gymkhana event assigning trophies and prizes to the winners.
Gymkhana is a time trial based event laid out by cones to mark a course. It is usually run on large carparks and it is the next rising motorsport kind in Asia, as it is purely grassroots. The race started with a Toyota Vios driven by Jenson Wong who eventually clocked the fastest time of 42.478 seconds becoming champion of Class OA. This competition attracted drivers from various parts of Malaysia. Some of the top drivers secured the top spots while the rookies showed their improvements. Eighteen contestants raced in four categories connected with the driver’s level. In the end, some of the most experienced drivers, like Amirul Syah, gave the spectators the opportunity to witness an exciting drifting stunt show on a closed tarmac of the race area. That was the perfect closure of a thrilling day for Pakelo.
